Here is the second installment in our ongoing Southeast Asia photo collection. We took these photos in Thailand between days 11 and 45 of our trip. The photos are from:
–Erawan Falls National Park, which is near the very forgettable small city of Kanchanaburi, about 100 km. west of Bangkok,
–the ancient capital city of Ayutthaya, just north of Bangkok,
–the even more ancient capital city of Sukhothai, several hours north of Ayutthaya,
–and the contemporary northern Thai city of Chiang Mai, about 12 hours by bus north of Bangkok.
The soundtrack is a piece titled Oltremare by Ludovico Einaudi.
